Congratulations on your engagement! Now it's time to find that perfect wedding venue to host your dream wedding, reception and guest accommodation. Set in the stunning East Sussex countryside, Alfriston Gardens boasts a breathtaking setting for your perfect day.

Located in the heart of the South Downs National Park, Alfriston Gardens is perfectly set within easy reach of Brighton, Eastbourne, Hastings & Royal Tunbridge Wells, for those looking for an uninterrupted & exclusive rural wedding rural location.

WEDDING CEREMONY

We're licenced for weddings, currently for 122 guests, but with our redevelopment we should be licenced for approximately 150 guests.

CENTURY & WOODLAND BARN

Woodland Barn will provide an extension to the historic Century Barn, providing a modern twist to a traditional building. This will offer a fabulous opportunity for couples looking to make the most of ‘something old and something new’ as we merge historic and contemporary buildings together. A stunning mezzanine viewing area is being added, fitted with vintage theatre seats, giving opportunity for spectacular wedding photography and adding a level of theatrical sophistication to your day. We will be able to accommodate 160 guests for your wedding breakfast.

OAK LODGE

Oak Lodge provides a social setting for both before and after your ceremony. As a place to unwind, this multi-functional space is where breakfast is served and doubles up as a dining facility as well as being suitable for more intimate wedding receptions.

CATERING

You’ll be in good hands with Hardings Catering & Events who will look after all your food and beverage requirements throughout your stay and their Events Manager will ensure everything runs smoothly.

As a proven reputable and experienced events catering company based in the South East, Hardings Catering & Events are available to cater to a wide range of wedding styles and dietary requiements.

GARDENS

The gardens are maintained by RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medalist, Juliet Sargeant and make way for stunning photographs both during the day and at night, throughout every season.

We have a standing stone circle within our grounds, and Old Man of Wilmington can be seen from our glamping garden.

ACCOMMODATION

Our impressive Lavender Lodge provides a tranquil getaway as a bridal suite ahead of the ceremony. Separated from other accommodation, Lavender Lodge is a standalone self-contained house that provides privacy and a relaxing atmosphere for the bridal party to prepare

We are also adding nine ensuite Shepherd Huts to create a luxurious glamping environment.

Oak Lodge provides five guest rooms.

We're also constructing The Vine Hotel, a modern accommodation space for the East Sussex landscape. Our bespoke facility is set to include a living roof, adding to the country atmosphere.

A total of 25 guest rooms, accommodating 50-60 guests.
