Huntsmill Farm

During the lead up to our wedding in August, the staff at Huntsmill Farm, including Henry and Emily, helped us to navigate the uncertainty and ever-changing circumstances that this strange year has brought. They did amazingly and helped us to ensure we had a memorable, special day by being flexible and helpful at every turn.

We ended up having a slightly smaller event than we had initially planned but we were excited to be able to get married and share the day with our families and close friends at the beautiful farm. We were able to invite them to spend the whole weekend with us in the cottages that surround the barn. On arriving, we were greeted by Louis who was welcoming and made us feel at home immediately.

On the day, we both felt nervous but Henry and Emily had helped us plan the day beforehand so we could relax and we knew what to expect from the day, logistically. Communication between us had been great before and the same was true on the day, meaning it was easy to prepare. All our guests went out of their way to say how friendly and helpful Henry and his team were. The level of service they provided us all weekend helped everything run smoothly.
The barn itself is stunning even without decoration but we appreciated Louis helping us set up and troubleshoot any last-minute issues. It was the ideal place for a romantic ceremony and a relaxed meal. The bar was also well-stocked and guests were very happy with the selection available. Louis had even offered to get some more drinks beforehand, taking our preferences into account. Staff were incredibly attentive on the day, serving us drinks and canapés.

As well as the barn, there are plenty of beautiful spots around the farm where great photos were taken. The surroundings are picturesque and tranquil. The cottages are not only well-decorated, particularly the renovated bridal suite, but they were fully equipped for our stay. It felt like our little corner of paradise the whole weekend!

We knew from visiting Huntsmill the first time that it would be the perfect place to get married and the memories from the day confirm that. It was the most special day and the farm, and it’s amazing staff, played a huge part in that.
